Fourth of July in Las Vegas

July 4th is always a big event, but it is an especially big occasion in Las Vegas. This city is already known for its spectacular lights, but you haven’t seen anything until you’ve seen the light shows that the city puts on for July 4th. Las Vegas does a great job of collecting the most extravagant fireworks for the occasion.

If you’ve ever seen a Fourth of July celebration anywhere else, you will see that they won’t compare to the amazing shows in Las Vegas. The city prides itself in providing impressive fireworks displays year after year. The city somehow outdoes itself every year with bigger, brighter, and more colorful fireworks.

The city will also be filled with delicious grilled food. Grilling is an old July 4th tradition. The air will be filled with savory smells of grilled meat, seafood, chicken, and more.

This delicious food will keep you fueled up to enjoy the entire day.

The Details

This is also a great time to spend at the pool. July is one of the most popular months for swimming in Las Vegas.

It only makes sense that a lot of people will be enjoying the cool water on the Fourth of July. It’s also a great time to lounge out in the sun and get a beautiful tan. Once the sun sets, you’ll get excited to witness the city’s fantastic fireworks.

You’ll likely see a lot of people having fun with their own fireworks and sparklers as well. There’s nothing better than watching fireworks with great grilled food and maybe a craft beer in your stomach. This is a great event to bring your friends or family to see.

Anyone who sees the fireworks in Las Vegas won’t forget it anytime soon. The fireworks also last a long time, so you won’t have to worry about it being over before you start getting invested.

Maroon 5 Fan Pop-up Experience: M5LV Portal to the Pyramids

If you’re a fan of Maroon 5, you can’t miss this event. This is a chance to see the band play live. There’s nothing better than listening to live music.

The instrumentals and vocals will sound so much clearer in person compared to listening on your phone or computer. The Portal to the Pyramids event is a unique event held by AREA15. AREA15 has an amazing 3D projection room that changes the appearance of the interior.

As the band plays its greatest hits, the background will shift according to what the projector has in store. The Great Pyramid of Giza is only one of many fantastic projections that you can get immersed in when you have this experience.

The room will transport you to many other great wonders of the world. The incredible graphics will make you feel like you’re being transported to another part of the world or a different world entirely. The experience will be amplified once you start listening to the great music that Maroon 5 has in store.

What You Should Expect

This event is long-lasting and is available from March 24 to April 8. This should give you plenty of time to decide if this is the event that you want to see. But don’t wait too long, or the tickets might sell out.

You can also check out the S.I.N Shop that will be available at the event. This shop will sell all sorts of exclusive merch that is unique to Maroon 5. It is the perfect place to go if you want to get merch that no one else has.

It is also a great way to support the band. There are vintage merch pieces as well, some of which are back from 2002. You can buy vinyl albums and many other pieces of memorabilia too.

This is an experience you’ll never forget as a Maroon 5 fan.

Haliene Heavenly Tour: Phase II in the Portal

This event is held in the same 3D-mapped room from AREA15. It is another musical experience from the singer Haliene. It is held on March 31 and is sure to be a fantastic event.

You’ll get to listen to the singer’s 12-track debut album while being entranced by fascinating visuals. You can enter as early as 9:30 PM. You need to prove that you are 18 years of age or older to attend the event.

If you want to drink alcohol while at the event, make sure you have your driver’s license to show that you’re 21 or older. Once the music starts up, you’ll enjoy all sorts of dubstep and trace music that will shake you down to your bones.

The Best Restaurants in Las Vegas

What if you could make the world’s best vacation even better?

Each month, millions of people visit Las Vegas, and even the pandemic couldn’t keep tourists away for very long. Most of those tourists are hoping to experience the gambling, performances, and overall vibe that “Sin City” has become so famous for.

Of course, Vegas is famous for something else: the food! Beyond those overflowing casino buffets, there are many amazing restaurants for you to experience.

Ready to check out the best restaurants in Las Vegas? Keep reading to discover the venues that will surely have your mouth watering!

Lumin Cafe and Kitchen

What if everybody at your party is hankering for different things? In that case, you should all go to Lumin Cafe and Kitchen, a restaurant that has a little bit of everything.

For example, American cuisine combines the familiar with the exotic to tingle your tastebuds. Those with a sweet tooth will enjoy the delectable desserts, and the specialty cocktails are truly one of a kind. If you need a pick-me-up in the middle of the day, try the subtle flavors of the fresh coffee.

From the patio lounge to the indoor decor, Lumin has an ambiance just as powerful as its flavor!

Gordon Ramsay Steak

Gordon Ramsay is a chef so famous that he became a brand unto himself. And you can trust this brand to deliver savory flavor when you visit Gordon Ramsay Steak in Vegas.

In addition to being a delicious experience, your visit to this steakhouse will be an educational one. You’ll get a special steak cart presentation and learn more about what makes different cuts of steak so unique.

By the time the steak is served, you’ll be able to enjoy the cut like you never have before.

Bazaar Meat by José Andrés

While Bazaar Meat may have a whimsical name, they are very serious when it comes to meat. And no Las Vegas restaurant guide without mentioning this shrine to all things meat.

When you walk in, you’re likely to notice interesting visual details like the homey fire and the antler chandeliers that would be right at home in a posh hunting lodge. But it’s the food that’s the real star, including bison tacos that you build yourself and foie gras cotton candy that will tingle the tastebuds of any visiting tourist.

Come for the sweet and savory foods, and stay for the “tastetastic” wine!

The Beast by Todd English

When you want to eat the best, you need to go to the best. And in Las Vegas, “the best” is most definitely The Beast by Todd English.

English is a James Beard Award winner who has created a culinary experience like no other. He has perfectly curated a selection of flavors that has made his restaurant a “must-experience” stop for locals and tourists alike.

Got picky eaters at your party? Don’t worry: they’ll find something to love at The Beast by Todd English.

Bardot Brasserie

One of the most striking features in Las Vegas is the Eiffel Tower Experience, but that’s not the only way to experience Paris when you are in town. In fact, the best way to get a true “taste” of Paris is to dine at Bardot Brasserie.

The menu for this restaurant is like taking a tour of France’s most famous city. For example, country bread evokes rural cuisine, but the beurre echire AOC butter gives it a modern flavor that would please any Parisian socialite. And the onion soup may seem simple, but after you add cave-aged gruyere to it, you’ll have a complex flavor you can’t find anywhere else.

From the initial cheese plate to the Chocolate Macaron, you’ll be transported to the City of Light, bite by bite.

Pizza Rock

Pizza Rock is the kind of place you can take friends who say they don’t really like pizza. The reason for this is simple: this restaurant sets out to redefine how much exotic flavor you can get from a simple slice.

For example, there are some more traditional pizza varieties available, including Margherita Napoletana. But you can also get a Cal Italia pie that combines prosciutto and gorgonzola with fig preserves for a sublime blend of savory and sweet flavor.

Each pie is heated to its own temperature, giving the crust the taste and texture you just can’t get back home.

Twist by Pierre Gagnaire

You may have noticed that the best Las Vegas restaurants help you get a taste of different regions from around the world. And if you’d like to experience multiple regions in a single visit, you need to take the time to visit Twist by Pierre Gagnaire.

For instance, when you order the Dover Sole, all you have to do is close your eyes to see and feel the sweeping coasts of Brittany. Many dishes hail from different regions, so you and the rest of your group have plenty of culinary adventures to choose from.

When you want to eat “around the world” without leaving your table, it’s time to visit Twist!

VegeNation

By now, you may have noticed that many Las Vegas restaurants focus on meat dishes such as steak. If you’re a vegetarian or simply someone who wants a bit more flavor variety, it can be difficult to find a stellar restaurant. Unless, of course, you decide to dine at VegeNation!

As the name implies, this restaurant is all about plant-based foods that are sure to impress veteran vegetarians. And non-vegetarians will be blown away by how good this restaurant makes dishes such as pizza, tacos, curry bowls, and so much more.

Party a little too much the night before? Hit VegeNation up for brunch and get your bearings and start the new day off right.

Set a Budget for Your Las Vegas Family Vacation

We’ve all heard stories about how expensive big cities are, but you don’t need to break the bank to enjoy your time in Las Vegas. If you’re on a tighter budget, then you’ll have to get more creative with your travel plans. Taking the time to work through your finances and come up with a solid figure that you feel comfortable paying will make planning the rest of your trip easier.

Resorts, restaurants, and attractions all tend to have transparent prices. As you’re creating your itinerary, you can also keep track of how much each day will cost. Since there are plenty of free attractions and affordable restaurants, you should be able to rearrange your itinerary if your expenses surpass your budget.

Book Your Plane Tickets in Advance

Taking kids to Las Vegas can be expensive if you don’t time the purchase of your plane tickets well. It’s wise to start browsing your options a couple of months in advance so you can keep an eye on prices and jump on an amazing deal. If you fly with an airline like Southwest, then you don’t have to pay extra to sit together as a family.

Since children can have a hard time with flights, you should try to find a direct flight that will make the journey as stress-free as possible. Create a packing checklist, so you don’t forget any important items or overpack. Be sure to bring along quiet activities that will keep your kids occupied during the flight.

Make Sure You Find a Family-Friendly Resort

When you visit Las Vegas with kids, you need to be aware of your surroundings to ensure that your family isn’t exposed to anything that’s too mature. While you’ll never run out of family-friendly fun, you need to acknowledge that many visitors are going to Vegas to participate in adult activities. Knowing this, you need to book your stay at a resort that’s geared toward children.

Not only will your children stay away from adults who are being inconsiderate, but they can also enjoy top-notch amenities that will make their stay more memorable. From waterparks to playrooms and beyond, you can make your children’s downtime exciting as well. There are plenty of resources you can use to find the best family resort that’s earned incredible ratings.

Research Family-Friendly Activities in Las Vegas

Anyone who’s familiar with Las Vegas as a whole knows that this city has so much more than casinos, bars, and clubs. If you want to get the most out of each day, you should try to group your attractions that are closest to each other together to cut down on travel time. Be sure to keep your children’s unique interests in mind so you don’t book anything that could bore them.

No trip to Las Vegas would be complete without visiting AREA15, which is a popular tourist attraction that packs all kinds of activities and experiences into one convenient spot.

From virtual reality to fascinating museums and candy stores, your family could spend the entire day exploring AREA15 without seeing everything. Your kids will feel like they’re on another planet once they experience the awesomeness.

Look at Restaurant Menus Ahead of Time

You’re guaranteed to be blown away by how many phenomenal restaurants there are in Las Vegas. Since there are so many options to explore, you may want to use travel resources like TripAdvisor that allow you to scout the highest-rated restaurants that fit within your budget.

If you have any picky eaters, then you’ll need to look at the menus in advance so you can be confident that they’ll have something to eat there.

It’s always wise to have several different options to choose from during your getaway. This will allow you to ask everyone what they’re in the mood for each day, and you’ll know exactly where to go.

Create a Schedule That Isn’t Too Tiring

A common misconception that families have is that they’ll have to search hard to find the right kind of entertainment during their Las Vegas trip. In reality, you’ll need to prioritize your itinerary because there will be too much to cram into one visit. Try to make a list of things that you need to do and things that you’d like to do so you can keep a flexible schedule.

As tempting as it is to try to do as much as you can, you have to pace yourselves. Try to include some rest time for a couple of hours each day where your family can relax by the pool and enjoy other relaxing activities. It’ll be helpful to check in with your kids throughout the day to gauge how much energy they have left.

These Las Vegas Travel Tips Will Make Planning a Breeze

Visiting Las Vegas: What Needs to Be On Your Itinerary

Visiting Las Vegas: What Needs to Be On Your Itinerary

Visiting Las Vegas: What Needs to Be On Your Itinerary

In 2019, about 42 million people visited Las Vegas.

If you’re going to be one of the millions of people visiting this amazing city, then you might be wondering what you should add to your itinerary.

Keep reading to learn all about the things you need to add to your itinerary when visiting Las Vegas.

Explore the Strip

One of the best things that you should do is explore the iconic Strip. It’s best to see this on foot and go at your own pace. It’s completely free, but you might spend money when trying different types of food when you’re walking around.

On the Strip, you’ll find all of the most famous resorts, casinos, and restaurants. The whole Strip is less than five miles, so you won’t have to walk too far. The whole street has a lot of footbridges to allow pedestrians to cross safely.

The Strip is just one straight line, and you can also take walking tours while you’re there. If you don’t want to walk, try taking an open-bus tour to get the same experience!

One of the best things about walking on the Strip is that you’re allowed to walk with alcoholic beverages. However, they need to be in a plastic container and not a bottle or a can.

Flamingo Wildlife Habitat

Another exhibit that needs to be on your Las Vegas itinerary is the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo Hotel. The habitat is at the hotel, and there are many flamingos here for you to see!

When you’re done looking at the flamingos, there is also a Flamingo Casino where you can gamble.

Stratosphere Tower

Your Las Vegas vacation wouldn’t be complete without going to the Stratosphere Tower at the northern end of Las Vegas. When you get to the top of this 240-meter tower, there is a playground that even has a rollercoaster.

There is also a revolving restaurant where you can enjoy American cuisine and take in the beauty of Las Vegas.

Cirque du Soleil

Cirque du Soleil is one of the most popular acrobatic shows, but it’s also Vegas’s longest-running show. Tickets can cost over $100, and they also have restaurants nearby.

The cast has 85 acrobats, synchronized swimmers, and divers. They perform above a one-and-a-half-gallon pool. These shows last for 90 minutes.

You’ll also be able to hear music to accompany the show, and it’s a mix of instrumental music from classic western songs and music from around the world. The live band will play behind a glass wall, so they won’t distract from the acrobatics happening in the air.

The shows will take place in the Bellagio Hotel and Casino, and it’s been performing since October 1998. There are normally two performances each day, but they can sell out quickly, so you should book your tickets as soon as possible.

Helicopter Over the Grand Canyon

If you want to get out of the city for a little bit, then you should book a helicopter over the Grand Canyon. This will give you an amazing view of one of the biggest landmarks in the United States.

Some helicopter tours will even give you complimentary champagne that you can enjoy to make your views even more special. Like with the Cirque du Soleil shows, these can book up early, so you should get your ticket as soon as possible.

Tickets can cost a few hundred dollars, but you can get customized packages that will make them even more expensive. You can also ask to see if there are any deals or promotions. However, it’s still one of the best ways to see the Grand Canyon.

Fremont Street

Fremont Street is a historic street in Las Vegas, and it’s a great place to find a lot of history and culture. Years ago, this was a small pit stop for cowboys who were helping settle the western front.

Fremont Street still has the reputation for being a great Western city to stop in. While there are all kinds of things to see and do on the street, you can even just sit on a bench and people-watch to get the full Fremont Street experience.

Area 15

You’ve probably heard of Area 51, and if you came to Las Vegas looking for aliens, then you’re in luck. At Area 15, you can enter portals that will bring you into an out-of-this-world experience.

There are all kinds of attractions and events here, but they also have restaurants, bars, and shops that you can enjoy while you’re there.

If you’re interested, you can go with a free Entry Pass and go on your own journey, but you can customize this pass and add all kinds of bundles and experiences to get the full immersion.

For example, you can ride Haley’s Comet, which is a hang gliding experience combined with a free fall. You’ll also get to experiment with ax throwing and even use virtual reality (VR) to simulate what it feels like to fly as a bird.

There are also pool tables where you can test your skills. If you enjoy golf more, then you can also visit the Five Iron Golf as well and practice your swing.

Vegas VR: 8 Reasons to Enjoy an Immersive VR Experience in Vegas

Vegas VR: 8 Reasons to Enjoy an Immersive VR Experience in Vegas

Vegas VR: 8 Reasons to Enjoy an Immersive VR Experience in Vegas

The term “virtual reality” was first used in the 1980s, but immersive virtual reality only become possible in recent years. Today, there are many VR experiences that you can enjoy, and some of them are in Las Vegas. If you are thinking about trying Las Vegas VR experiences, you might be wondering where you should start and why it might be worth it.

After all, why should you choose an immersive virtual experience rather than an experience out in the real world? Keep reading and learn about the many different reasons why you should give a virtual Vegas experience a try.

  1. Stimulate Your Brain

Using a VR headset is known to change the way the brain works and can stimulate this organ in a unique way. After all, your brain has to adapt to a new way of looking at the environment around you, or rather, in your VR headset. This can really light up your brain and help you to perceive things in a new way.

Using a VR headset for the first time may be a bit tricky to adjust to, and some people may feel dizzy at first. However, once your brain adjusts to the differences in movement and the environment, it should become a much more pleasant experience. Once you become accustomed to VR, you can start to experiment with more unique VR experiences and see what they have to offer.

  1. Experience 4D Effects

If you decide to experience VR in Las Vegas, you will find yourself able to immerse yourself in a 4D experience. What is 4D, you might ask? It not only combines the visual VR elements but also incorporates other factors in your environment, such as changes in temperature, the addition of unique smells, and more.

All of these factors, when combined, will create a completely unique and immersive virtual experience unlike anything else created so far. 4D experiences are extremely vivid and are often exciting enough to make your hair stand on end. It is certainly an experience to try if you want to try something that is unlike anything you’ve ever seen or felt before.

  1. Experience Exotic Environments

The great thing about VR is that you can be transported to just about any place you can imagine (and some places that you might not be able to imagine). There are many VR experiences that take you to foreign universes, other planets, far-away moons, different dimensions, and so on.

For that reason, the experiences you can explore in VR are pretty much endless. These experiences are more intense than just watching a movie because, after all, you will be in the middle of the whole thing, and you’ll be able to interact with the world around you too.

  1. Experience a PVP Shooter for Real

PVP (player versus player) shooter games are very popular, and they have been popular for many years. However, when playing a game like this on your computer, it can only be so immersive, no matter how good the graphics are or how interesting the atmosphere is. But when you take VR into account, you can truly enter the game and experience the excitement for yourself.

You can take real initiative when working together with your team members and fighting against the enemy. Considering that the battlefield will be all around you instead of just on the screen, the experience is bound to be exhilarating.

  1. Make a Daring Escape

If PVP games aren’t your thing, you can always choose a different VR experience that involves escaping from a dangerous area overrun with zombies or other similar enemies. In this scenario, you and your team will have to fight your way out until you finally reach safety. This kind of experience is equally as exciting as the PVP shooter, and you’re sure to have just as much fun.

Escaping from a dangerous environment will not only be a blast, but it will also stimulate your brain and help you figure out how to best work together with your teammates.

  1. Solve Puzzles and Overcome Challenges

While a big part of VR experiences is exploring foreign lands and escaping danger, there are also some experiences that will make you scratch your head and think. Some will require you to solve unique puzzles in a 3D environment, and some might require you to work together with your teammates in order to proceed.

Other experiences may require you to overcome difficult challenges to prove yourself.

  1. Try Flying

If you want to ensure that you have an unforgettable and unique experience, you can always try a VR experience involving flying. Some VR scenarios allow you to take a bird’s eye view of impressive cities and landscapes.

This, of course, would allow you to see the world from a whole new perspective.

  1. Create Memories You’ll Never Forget

When you seek out VR experiences in Vegas, you’ll come across scenarios and scenery that you won’t be able to find anywhere else, certainly not on this planet at least. The amazing graphics and 4D effects will allow you to experience completely unique moments.

What better way could you come up with unforgettable moments that you can recount for years to come?
