About CLUB SHY

Club Shy is the X-Rated after-hours realm curated by Shygirl. The inaugural event took place at East London’s Metropolis nightclub in October 2022 to celebrate her Mercury Prize-nominated debut album, “Nymph.” The concept of Club Shy was first introduced in Shygirl’s BBC Radio 1 Residency in November 2021. Following events included Club Shy LA at The Echo, Primavera Sound São Paulo, Chicago’s Berlin nightclub, and Webster Hall in NYC. Club Shy merges Shygirl’s love for club music with live performances and DJ sets. The debut live show will be at Sónar Lisboa 2024, featuring reworks of Shygirl’s tracks, DJs, and dancers. Fans can look forward to the release of “thicc” on November 14, the lead single from the upcoming six-track project “Club Shy,” due in early 2024. Club Shy continues to embody Shygirl’s exploration of club culture and music, offering a platform for her evolving artistic expression.
