About Flamingos In The Tree

Flamingos in the Tree originated in a college dorm in Reno, Nevada, when Daniel Escovar sought fellow musicians to bring his music to life. He found Spencer Thomas, a multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter living across the hall.

Together, they wrote songs and later joined forces with drummer Jarvis Humlick. Despite noise complaints in their dorm, they found refuge in a church basement to rehearse and record their debut album, ‘sunsets that i had w u’. James Pizzo, another multi-instrumentalist, completed the band, and they’ve since relocated to the Bay Area to continue their indie rock journey.
