About Christian Löffler

Christian Löffler is an electronic/techno producer known for his emotive, melancholic music. He developed an interest in music at a young age and focused on programming and arranging on his computer. Löffler’s unique sound is influenced by his upbringing in Germany’s Darß peninsula. He taught himself various programs and instruments, while also honing his photography skills and collecting field recordings. In 2008, he co-founded Ki Records with a friend, releasing his debut EP, “Heights.” Löffler consistently released EPs on his label, except for the “New York” EP released on 20:20 Vision in 2015. His debut album, “A Forest,” featuring Gry Bagøien and Mohna, was released in 2012. In 2016, his second album, “Mare,” embraced a more organic approach with self-recorded instruments and field recordings.
