Shogyo Mujo
Bart Kresa Studio and Josh Harker
Shogyo Mujo is an interactive, twelve-foot tall skull covered in 3D projection mapping and synched to music. That alone would be enough, but “Shogyo Mujo” adds a layer – the name refers to a mark of Dharma, which states that all things are transient and impermanent. It ventures into the fourth dimension, that of time, to give each guest a uniquely different experience based on where, when, and how they view the piece. We can’t predict your experience of Shogyo Mugo—only that it’ll be different from anyone else’s.
Co-creators Bart Kresa and Joshua Harker are each renowned for their large-scale projects: award-winning augmented realities from Master Projection Designer Kresa, and pioneering 3D-printed art and sculpture from Harker. Shogyo Mugo is their first collaboration.
